



Cobham, UK – Cargill has completed the sale of its corn mill in Seaforth to Dacsa Ltd, a subsidiary of Maicerias Espanolas, S.A. The purchase will allow Dacsa to develop its UK interests and build up relationships with current and prospective clients.
The sale secures the future of the flint corn part of the business in Liverpool. Meanwhile, the masa flour part of the business will be maintained by Cargill until January 2006 in order to fulfil outstanding customer contracts. Approximately 20 employees will transfer to Dacsa. The remaining employees will be relocated elsewhere within Cargill.
